His crime was the aggravated sexual abuse of a year-old boy. Bluedog is said to have communicated with a year-old boy for a month through e-mails.
Obviously, pedophiles are very dedicated to getting what they need. When I was single if a girl bored me after 15 minutes I moved on but I digress.
He even went as far as to ask the boy to sneak out of his house. The boy turned out to be a police detective and when they went to arrest Bluedog he crashed into a squad car before fleeing. Police did not pursue but caught up with him later. This story shows us a few things.
Secondly, it shows what kind of creeps are trolling the personals and casual encounters sections of craigslist. A classifieds site should tout itself on its safety not how many pedophiles and rapists it has. This does not show that sex offenders cannot be rehabilitated.
It shows that this one particular guy was not rehabilitated. Like Like.

Registered sex offender indicted for solicitation: year old William Craig Bluedog of Sioux Falls, South Dakota is a convicted sex offender. This past week Bluedog was indicted on charges of child solicitation and eluding authorities.
